Pedal Auction Description: AKAI SB1 Deep Impact in great conditionIf you're looking at this you probably already know about it. Maybe you've seen the videos on youtube or you're a Muse fan. Let me tell you, it's one cool machine. There are nine preset sounds and almost a dozen parameters you can tweak to get each of those sounds just the way you want. It tracks wonderfully - even my low B string. It only tracks single notes however (no chords). The bypass is a true bypass - it doesn't color your sound at all. I used it to emulate the keyboard bass parts in an 80's cover band. That band has since broken up and the band I'm in now has a keyboard player. Although I gigged extensively with it, it always sat on top of my amp head, and I changed programs using my hand. At the end of the night it was wrapped in a towel and put into my gig bag. The red paint is nearly flawless. There are no scratches or gouges. The only visible flaws are two small spots on the bottom and part of the serial number label is torn (see photo). Everything on the pedal functions like new. It comes with the original power supply and box. I don't have the original manual, but I'm including a printed copy from Akai's website (it's only five pages).If you're not satisfied, return it to me within seven days in the same condition you received it.
